Matilda, you are on a roll. I hope it last for you. Congrats on the awards, and the kitchen.
Gina, your story brought tears to my eyes too. Children really are a gift from God, and they know how to touch our hearts when we need it most !
Sandy, congratulations on Raymond getting published. That is a thrill I bet ! He is a great bear. Did you hand or machine embroider his pads ? Either way it's a nice touch !
Your bears are so nice Clare. I love the tilted heads in the pics, makes the bears so huggable.
O.K , O.K. Shelli , you sweetie you ! I just dont' want to upset anyone, or step on any toes. I just like to share what I can . Thanks for your support and hugs......a little chocolate, like Amanda said , would be nice too. So, do I have to dig out that Caramilk bar picture again
You guys are just so great , I love it here !
Nancy, you are a sweet, sweet person. I just read about your dilema. Thanks for sharing it so we can all learn together ,and hold you up ! You have been thru a lot this past while, but are remaining strong. Good for you. You are such an inspiration too all of us. Don't let Mr. ^(^&%^&% get to you
, just do what you love the best way you know how ! Keep that flame buring high and bright
Oh my Kerynn !!!!! You are amazing to be able to make such a precious and tiny bear. I am in awe !
Sue Ann, I pray that this hurricane will not be as bad as predicted. Stay safe !
Judi and Kim your bears are beautiful. Judi, I decided yesterday that I could make a bear in time for the Charity, cut it out and chose a name. CHARITY !!!!! You stole my name
Great minds think alike. Your "Charity is" much more deserving of the name !
She is stunning as usual. Superdeduper !
Kim, I am glad you like it. i just realized that I didn't put your name on it so I will send you a new version. Also, if you plan to use it in your auctions , I'll send one without the website on it, as that is taboo on ebay. I just used the free program called Photofilter. It is easy, just takes some experimentig do what you want.
Thank you everyone for the nice compliments. I am in no way as talented as Shelli, or attempting to steal potential business from her. I just like to play with graphics stuff. And, I was just having a stressful day where my sewing machine was acting up, and nothing was going right . So, I decided to read some past post. I read how Kim was getting discouraged with the whole selling thing . Since I could relate as my last ebay auction ended without a buyer, I decided to do something for her to maybe cheer her up. No biggy, just wanted to share something like everyone else does so generously .
Shantell, hang in there. I too get overwhelmed when I read some of the posts. It seems like it so complicated when all you want to do is make bears. The others are right.......just give it time. I'm still learning and trying to get things going. As Dilu said.....baby steps.
It is so nice to have bear friends here who care and can offer support when we feel down !
Keep your chin up and a smile on your face !
Millie , I love the colors you created. Well done and a great bear !
Nancy your grandson is absolutely and angel. Oh what a preciuos, peaceful little face he has. You must be thrilled. I am happy to hear that Stephanie is doing better also. Big hugs to you all !
Judi and Marie I am glad things seem to be working out finally. It must have been so frustrating for both of you .
Judi, I agree that your work is stunning. Just so unique and perfect !
I think I hear her hollering !!! Funny typo ! I think I'm going to die laughing -
O.k I really have to sign off until tomorrow. Have fun girls/guys.
Glad to see you on her Shari. Try not to injure anymore muscles laughing.
Kim,
if you want to email me privately I can offer some help getting you set up with what I now use. It took awhile to understand it, but once you get your template created it's easy to change. I've only used it on my current auction (which hasn't been successful yet) but I do like the layout. You can see it at http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie … %3AIT&rd=1
Anyway , it is only $1/month to use, can't get much better than that.
O.k I promise I'll behave. I think my daughters giddy excitement has rubbed off on me. I'll be good now
Speaking of stale bars...... I have something that may curb your craving for a bit.
Several years ago I bought an Aero bar. (You know the ones with the air bubbles - do you have those or do I have to go buy one to show you again LOL) Anyway, when I bit into it and pulled it away from my mouth there in one of the little air bubbles was a live, squirmy maggot !!!!
I almost threw up and . It took years before I was able to eat another one. Of course it wasn't enough to totally turn me off chocolate , it's to addictive.
So are we totally off topic or what. Maybe we need to start a chocolate thread.
Gotta run , I've got a brood of 9yr. old girls coming soon for a birthdday sleepover party tonight. HELP !!!!! Where's the chocolate.....of yah ....... it's the cake . Woohoo !!!!!
Marion that is hilarious. Eileen and I should get some kind of commission on that sale.
Clare, remember to be nice and share your bar with us too . Maybe it is the same kind ????
So how are those diets going that everyone planned to start awhile ago. Where are your diet buddies now girls, huh, huh. ( I too am a diet failure ;)!)
Gee sorry ladies. I hope none of you had any serious anxiety attacks last night when your chocolate stash was empty. I just couldn't resist sharing. Was that bar ever tasty !!! YUM
Shelli....I love you too
PS. How did this thread go from growlers to chocolate anyway. Eileen, look what you started.
Millie , I really like the style of your site too. I think Eileen had a good idea for a more anitque type color for the background. It might enhance the overall aged effect. Can't wait to see the final site !
Hugs Louise and Shari. Glad to hear that you are both on the mend. Slowly ,but surely you'll be as good as new
