Congrats Mary!!!  46 years, that's great!!!  Hope you all do something fun together.

s in August.....I never remember birthdays either...... :redface:  and its been 18 or 19 years?  Maybe..... :redface:  :redface:  and i am 55 or 56.....sheesh louise.....

Well here's what I do know, I have absolutely no regrets and would do it again in a heart beat!  I adore this guy!

and he likes that I never remember, because then neither of us have to worry about all that silly stuff like remembering a card or a gift....the gift thing we do all the time anyway-I like that better.....

It can take weeks and weeks.  A golly I sent to PenPen once took 6 weeks, and that was "priority" so don't be in such a hurry to refund the money, because I'll bet she wont be in a hurry to repay when they show up....be patient....

It is gut wrenching when they go missing though.....something I sent to Marion in France took 3 months-we both had given up on them and then they arrived.  go figure....

Patience dear heart!  It is hard, but you have to give the kids some time, they sometimes like to take side trips.  Especially if it is their first trip off the "farm".

Mine kindly gave me a very nice gift certificate to Fabric.com.

Nothing says "I love you" like fabric, in my book....Of course I had to do the computer work and that meant I got to put in the value! :crackup:  :crackup:  :crackup: 

Needless to say, He really said I love you this year.  

It does lessen the stress and we are both happy-what did he get?   I think I got him a rifle, but it could have just been the scope....or perhaps both?  I'll have to ask him what I got him.. Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing it......He loves the smell of gun oil in the morning.

Nope he isn't a hunter.....just targets.  The deer come to us to hide during hunting season, 2 and 4 legged critters welcome,

I use gun oil on my riffler files that I use to clean up porcelain in the greenware state.  When I come back to the house he smells it on my hands and actually said "You smell good."  How funny is that?  :crackup:  :crackup: Well its cheaper than Chanel.....

Yup, I would move in a heart beat....I'm allergic to cities-don't really like stores....its a beautiful property, lovely area and such a cheeery color.

Is it in a small town? 
the wood is beautiful, do you know what it is called? 

And most importantly:  Is there a special large room for your studio????

No matter what machine you get I would like to encourage you to get the shop book for it off e-bay or used book stores.  The more you know about your own machines, the more you can take it apart for cleaning or to remove errant threads gone astray, the better you will understand the machine and the easier it will be to use. 

Canned air is wonderful for clearing out mohair dust and fabric dust, BUT if your machine has an electronics board you will want to be very very careful.  You will want to blow so that the fuzz goes away and not deeper into that area.

and do do do oil regularily, you'd be surprised how many machines are taken in simply because the owner doesn't oil and things get gummed up quickly.  Especially in your bobbin casing area.

I love my machines, each one has special characteristics that are endearing.

I have heard nothing but praise for Janomes, I hope you have many happy hours with her.

Daphne has graciously volunteered to retype the list and take out all the bizaar symbols; she sent me a piccy of what you all are seeing; how perfectly confusing....as I do not see any of that on my screen.

Quy tells me it is a "mac" thing.

So I have sent her the latest corrected version, and told her who I am still waiting to hear from.  And it appears you all will be much happier.  I know I would be if I could read the list with out the extra ASCII like gobbledegook.

We may have to knight Miss Daphne as the Annual TT Holiday Card Queen,

They are coming to put in the "industrial" strength and size shelving today......We're talking stuff that can hold some serious weight....thank heavens, as we all know, mohair and fabric may look light and fluffy but it can weight a ton.....so I will try and check in as frequently....as soon as I resend this stuff.....  

Oh Jen, don't feel like an idiot....No one is more careful and paranoid than my hubby and he has opened email I wouldn't touch with a taser!  So glad you realized it and took care of things!

First time throuGH  college I was a music major.

then i realized that the chances of supporting myself were a wee bit on the slim side...

second time through was nursing-I was able to support myself while continuing to do what I love.....

I think you should always keep your creative love a priority-

figure out how you can support yourself at the same time...

If you do not keep that need to create, do what you love, a priority, you will become frustrated and unhappy.

Its not a question of "when I have time"- if you have it in you, if it consumes you, then you must work harder at it-

"follow your heart"-every old woman who told me that also said that all else will follow .  So now I am the old woman-

follow your heart-the rest will come to you
