Helen ~ What a cutie. I admire your bear ... and I must say I also admire your stick-to-it-iveness in getting that picture up there!
Eileen ~ Sign me up for a Mel Gibson bear!
Interesting!
Hey, Judi Airbrush Paul, how about airbrush colors? Any fading with the acrylic colors? Do they need to be heat set at all? I have some golden liquid acrylics here I keep thinking about.
Gail ~ I do! It's my home away from home. ;)
SueAnn ~ I'm gonna check that site out tomorrow. Can't sleep tonight; was up for some hot milk ... maybe some green tea. Nighty-night.
She's great! And oh I just love that. And oh, that Colin Firth ...
SueAnn ~ Thank you! I wasn't going to order there ... just found the picture. Are there other brands that behave similarly?
Dilu ~ Don't let that sweet expression fool you! She could probably run with the gollies.
Are these the markers you guys are referring to? http://www.currys.com/markers/prodinfo1 … 3&catID=26
Are they permanent? Lightfast?
Jenn, come on ... get off TT and get those pictures done! We're an anxious bunch!
Dilu ~
I've put your post in my AOL instant messenger "buddy info". Thank you.
Dilu ~ Milk or dark chocolate? I found dark chocolate M&M's at WalMart yesterday. Mmmm!
I feel a trip to Barnes & Noble coming on. Me with a pumpkin spice grande latte, in the childrens section. Anybody wanna come? I'm jumpin' in the shower, then I'm off!
This is an incredibly entertaining thread! Love it, and you guys, of course. I chuckle every time I even look at the title, as I keep reading it as The Care and Feeding of Dilu.
We should be taught not to wait for inspiration to start a thing. Action always generates inspiration. Inspiration seldom generates action.
~ Frank Tibolt
You can't wait for inspiration. You have to go after it with a club.
~ Jack London, American short-story writer and novelist whose works deal romantically with elemental struggles for survival. One of the most extensively translated of American authors. 1876-1916

Inspiration exists, but it has to find us working.
~ Pablo Picasso, Spanish artist and painter. 1881-1973
Shantell, if you're discouraged about how you're progressing in your craft, it may help to take a look at where you've been! Dig out a pic of that first bear! That usually does it for me!
Yep very colorful. Easy to navigate. I had no difficulty going straight to the bear dresses to oogle and drool. Great work Fran.
Shari ~ You're cruel! (I love it!)
I saw some similarly painted t-shirts in New Orleans a few years back. Took me by surprise they looked so ... well you know ... just like those skirts.
Fran ~
Our very own Help Advisor Neysa has a book called Whimsical Teddy Bears that I refer to all the time when I'm designing a bear. It's awesome, with excellent instruction and design tips.
Hi Ginnie ~ Welcome to Teddy Talk! Now that you are part of TT, you are ALSO famous bear artist. See how that works?
You'll love it here. Everyone is so sweet and kind, and helpful and supportive.
Oh my Gawd, NO. Don't have a website, but am 100% sure there wouldn't be a picture of me on it. I hate the camera. (And it ain't any too fond of me.)
Breathtaking. Looks like some kind of angelic creature.
You're awesome Fran! Gorgeous!
I keep coming back to this post, same reaction every time ...
Of course! NOT!
SueAnn ~ I thought everyone in Texas lived at SouthFork. Is this not true?
