I am so sorry, I thought you had the bear. Thats too bad, it sure is a great looking bear. Maybe someone else will know the bear, good luck with that.

my TBR magazine came yesterday so I knew all the winners, but loved watching the presentation live.  Thanx for posting it.  Congrats to all the winners and bigger congrats to those of you I see here on TT the bears and critters were just wonderful as usual.

Do not know the bear, but I am sure you could measure and draw the pattern from the bear itself.  I am not a great bear maker, but I would give it a try with some tissue paper or soft paper that would mold to the arms, legs, etc.  If that doesn't work, then I am sorry that I can not help you further.

  Good to see you here again Mary, with such a heart wrenching story about your new friend.  I have never had a fire in my home or know of anyone that has, it must be totally devistating.  You are a great person for helping her to get some of the things she needed.  I am surprised that her own neighbors did not  help in some small way.  Things will get better with each day.  Life is what you make out of it, good or bad, that has been my motto for all my years and I teach it to my kids also.  So welcome back and hope to see you here often again.

Jane, I am so happy for you and your daughter.  the venue looks spectacular.  I made the bouquets for my sons wedding and the center pieces for my daughter. They were on Valentines day, so was quite easy, hearts and flowers. You are a crafty person so I am sure you can come up with something as long as you have a craft store close by.  Look in magazines, and plan on a theme. Get your daughter and future son in law involved.  Should be a fun time had by all.  Good Luck and keep us informed of the progress.

Hi, I have never sewn the parts that way, but he is doing it mainly because it is such a small bear. I always cut out, pin and then sew and turn.  I have never thought of it any other way.  Maybe I will try it and see.
He is a fabulous bear maker, I have several of his books.

Great to you for beating it.  I too have had lots of friends and family lost to that dreadfull desease, but there has been a lot of progress now in curing most types of cancer.  I have skin cancer on my face at times, thats basil cell, and can be taken off. Thats from too much sun bathing as a young girl. Now I do not go out in the sun, or I wear a hat and pleny of sun screen.

  So Beth, you went ahead and did it.  Just like me, my Rosalie is now 9 months old and does take up my time for bears, I am even getting a rescue dog about the same age so she has a companion to make my life a little easier, At least that is the plan.  Ha Ha, Her name is Gabriella and they are both Boston Terriers.  Good luck with that sweet toasty, he looks like a darling.  Thanx so much for sharing
