My husband tried to catch everyone in the sales room and asked permission for photos for Teddy Talk.  However, he had a hard time getting to everyone because the sales room was so busy.  Artists were busy with customers, and as you can see from many sparse tables, sales were brisk!  Enjoy the picture show!

Here's more!

I am posting pics taken from the gallery showing at the Teddy Bear Reunion in Clarion, Iowa this past weekend.  I will also post pics of artists at their tables later.  My husband took the pictures as I was busy tending to my table.  A photographer, he is not.  But, I think he did pretty good on the gallery pics.  The table pics, not so good, but we'll forgive him!

Don't waste your time driving to Joann's.  Call first.  They do carry size 8 but not a good selection, at least not here in Phoenix.  Edinburgh is discontinuing a lot of their embroidery floss colors.  I was really disappointed with their selection the last time I ordered.  You'd be best to order on-line or seek out a specialty shop in your area.  I'm lucky, there is a shop about 45 minutes from my house.  I go a few times a year and stock up.

Try longer, more narrow darts.  This should give you a more gradual curve and not make points.  When I put darts into a gusset, I align them so they are on the very top of the head where I typically place the ears.

Congrats to you and your hubby.  I feel the same way about my hubby.  It does get better with each passing day.  Not to say there aren't some ups and downs but I'm still crazy about him.

I love the circus theme!

Thanks everyone.  This bear was a really a bear to make.  He is quite big, 25 inches, but I am taking another larger bear to the show as well.  Not many are crazy enough to make big bears so they seem to get a lot of attention at shows.  I absolutely cuss myself every time I start a really big bear but love them when they are done.
