Hello all, I wanted to give you an update on this campaign, I am getting frustrated, I have not gotten a yes or no from the Susan G Komen people. Does anyone have a breast cancer charity that would be a good one to donate to? I never thought wanting to give someone money would be this hard.
I have been working on a press packet to give to everyone envolved so you could promote this in your area.
I have talked to a couple magazines willing to promote our efforts.
I will hopefully hear something in the next day or two.
Thanks again everyone for agreeing to help and keep your fingers crossed I will get the green light soon.
Hugs
Jodi
I am so glad Bubba's back!!!!!!!
I was going to tell you this story but I didn't want to until I knew it was a happy ending.
When my son was going into the 1st grade he developed the worst case of seperation anxiety, it was horrible, but we found these wonderful little stuffed dogs called "The Dog" , they came in McDonalds happy meals they were small enough to carry in a pocket, well I told my son I would put LOVE in the dog and when he missed me at school he could reach in his pocket and squeeze it and give me a "hug", instantly he was no longer upset to be at school. A year went by and I went to pick him up at school and the first thing he said was , "I lost The Dog today". I panicked inside, I asked him if he was OK and he said very matter of factly, "yep I sure am" I said "you don't feel bad, that dog is gone?" he goes "Nope, I just figured someone else was scared and dog went to cheer them up." It is moments like that , that you want to hug your kids and never let go.
Wow, can you imagine being able to buy a purse that cost that much, I am so not a purse person , I love those wallets on a strap, I love the fact I never worry about leaving my purse behind, which I have done . When I carry a big purse I become the pack mule for everyone.
I am a firm believer in, bigger purse , bigger amount of junk to carry around.
I never thought I would give up needing all the little stuff I used to carry , but oh my gosh sometimes I still get giddy about how light I travel now.
I use size 12 beading needles by Beadsmith for my mice, cutting the thread at an angle is what I do too and then pray

Judi you have to get a blog they are great!!!!!!
It is so fun to check out everybodys blogs, they are amazing!!!! it makes it nice to get to know the other sides of people, I swear Aleta could give Martha Stewart a run for her money, I love going to her blog to soak in all the wonderful colors, being in an all guy house, I crave those girl colors sometimes and Aleta's blog is wonderful for that, after I go there I feel like I have been to a tea party.
Sometimes when I try not to cuss I say "Oh my holy cow"

OK I found one of the easiest and most wonderful tasting, easy to make dessert kits.
It is by a company called Banquet and it is called "Dessert Bakes" "Coconut Creme Pie" all you need is water and a pie pan (they even have a crust packet that only takes 2 Tbls of water to make). It takes minutes to make and 30 minutes to chill, and "oh my gosh!!!!! it is sooooo yummy!!!" If you get a chance, try it, you won't be sorry , just a little fatter ;0)LOL
What is your favorite easy to make dessert??????
Charlotte and Jane THANK YOU , THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!! that's it exactly, Laura Lynn I love this idea. You Rock!!!
I did a light box with a big cardboard box and had lights on the sides and top, it works really great but for the bigger bears it gets tight, let me see if I can find where I posted it, it was really cheap to do and doesn't take up a lot of room. But you may be thinking of the one Shelli did I'll see if I can find the link where I put pictures of mine.
Thanks everyone!!!!!

Here's the thread with the light box I did, warning it is really ugly looking but works great for the small stuff
