... is there something in my chocolate???
Hope not Clare. Only thing I've heard of being put in chocolate (usually brownies), is ....
L shape like this? Looks strange on this picture, but there's lots of room.
WOW!! That is going to be so awesome!!!! Jealous over here! I'm working on the kitchen table!!!
I've done my kitchen table time, believe me! Family is tired of bear fur balls in their soup!
Oh Kathy ...
You have received some very good news for sure, and you've been protected!
And HEY ... February 1st is a good day, it's my birthday!
Top two. Like the mauve background.
Okay guys ...
The attic needed to be insulated, and while we were at it, we decided to finish it off into a sewing loft/studio. End to end, it's 31 feet. On the picture labeled North End, the work area from the white box on the West side, to the wall on the East, and from the North wall to the stairs, is 12' x 13'.
I think it's in this area I want to set up sewing machines and work counters/tables. I don't really want to work with my back to the stairs, so I'll set up to face the stairs ... somehow.
On the South end, I want to build a light closet. Lots of storage space on that end. The area labeled West will have access, and some of this (not all) can be used for storage.
There is obviously ZERO natural light, so am looking for your suggestions for lighting, and work layout. I just am at a loss. I got home from work, hubby had the contractor here, and he'll be here to start laying out electric Thursday. I have to be prepared with instruction on where to put outlets, etc.
Great topic! Penny ~ you're off to a great start in the new year! Hehe!
Amen Roxanne!
Awesome Ellen!
I think the photo (and the bear) is great! Lucky sis!
This is my kind of bear. I adore all the needlefelting and pretty eyes that are such hits, but I'm <personally> drawn to a more traditional look, like you've captured. Super!
I started "late" to finish by the last day of work before Christmas (the Wednesday before), and the battle was really mine against the clock I guess. Then the holidays came, and I just got busy and had to finish in what felt like a rush. Oh well. She's off to work with me in the am.
She's 12" SueAnn.
Thanks guys.
I fought this bear and the bear won. Just didn't come out the way I'd hoped. That's what you get for hurrying. Also, have to take to work tomorrow, so no fuss with the camera ... just snap and that's it.
By the way ... don't you just hate posting after Judi does? Geeesh!
Gorgeous as always.
I'm partial to Dell. I have Gateways at home and at work and don't care for either one. The kids have Dells and they've served them well.
Most everyone seems to have 15-30 pounds to lose. My goal is a little more aggressive. Anyone with 50-70 wanna PM me?
SueAnn ~
Thank you for posting your intentions! I'm in. I'm formulating my plan ... I think I'll try to take advantage of Nathan's (my son) interest in Health & Fitness. He just changed programs in college, and also just started participating in weightlifting competitions. I don't see weightlifting in my future, but some strength training coupled with diet and cardiovascular exercise will be a good thing I think.
My health, my pride, my attitude ... all would improve by dropping off the pounds.
Mmmm ... recipe sounds good Kim. Right now though, as I finish up some wrapping and start on a couple of cooking items for Christmas, I'm polishing off a bottle of Mr. Boston Eggnog. It comes in a bottle vs. a carton, and is sold at the discount liquor store vs. the grocery store, and has just the right amount of whiskey.
Yum ...
I think if more people sew bears the peace and kindness wouldn't be that rare in our world.
Me too! Merry Christmas Julia!
with golden syrup, but also has sugar ....
