Daphne, It is lovely to see the animals that live around your home. The dear is so lovely, a bear now I would be scared. We have a housing development in the paddock across from our home and before it came it belonged to a very large family of Roos (70+) They would come across the road and feed early in they morning and late at night on the green front lawns. in the park they would lay down like lizards enjoying the sun, now those that have no moved on hop around in between diggers and earth moving trucks in the dust. So Sad Thanks for the great pics Cheers Susan
Dear Jenn, It is so hard to say good bye to our pets as we don't think of them as amimals, they are family. I know how you feel as we had to make the decision to have our 19 year old cat put to sleep. It is a brave thing to do and so heart breaking.   Cheers Susan
Dear Bron, Boy have you been busy, with new puppy dramas and now poor sick Tiffany, you must be juggling between your vet hat and your nurse hat. I hope it all settles down soon and everyone is better. Cheers Susan
Dear Sandi, Your cupboard looks great, do you do much painting? I also paint and at the moment I am working on a rose in oils. I had used acrylics for years for folkart but now am starting to use other mediums as well. Cheers Susan
Nancy, Lovely flowers, no flowers in my garden at the moment as it is winter in Oz. I love gardening too, but will have to wait for a few more months before anything starts to come to life. Cheers Susan
Dear Tracy, What a great looking rooster, he looks very proud of himself. I have a peachface that I rescued from our garden.. he was being attacked by a currowong (Large scary black and white bird in Oz) He also turns his head to look at something.. It's to do with how their eyes are placed wide on their head, just darn cute. Cheers Susan
Dear Bronwen, So sad that you have lost one of the darling pups, poor mum she has been through heaps. Those tiny little faces are adorable. Cheers Susan
Dear Tracy, That just sounds weird, do they want you to make a bear to star in the "movie"? There are so many fraud emails trying to lure us in, I would be wary of this one. Cheers Susan
Those little babies are so cute, all following after their mum like that. It's nice to see the different kinds of widelife we have in our backyards. So sad about the little baby... Cheers Susan
Heather, If it happening with the machine and hand sewing it could be the fabric you are using. Perhaps you could put some lining on the pieces to give them some strength?? Cheers Susan
Dear Sophie, So disappointing for you both. After all the time, worry and hard work you have put in, hopefully there will be something better in the future. Cheers Susan
Dear Tammy, So sorry to hear you bear is missing in action. I remember that little fellow with the needle felted toes. Being you best selling bear to date and to have him go missing is terrible. Hopefully he will turn up safe and sound. I have been waiting on a white mink collar to come from Canada it has been about 4 weeks now and I am starting to give up hope... fingers crossed Cheers Susan
Dear Duli, You are one naughty chicky babe, you make me smile every day. Can you be bottled?? A little drop of Duli each day is just what the doctor ordered. Cheers Susan
Dear Judi, Three Cheers for a wonderful achievement, what a excitiing time for you. Enjoy your high, it is very well deserved. To be nominated for such and outstanding award is a feat in itself. Congratulations to all those amazing artists nominated. A dream to hold onto forever.   Cheers Susan
Dear Shelli, Ditto the caring thoughts from everyone replying. First and formost your health must be your first concern and the related stress from the thought of your reputation in the bear world being damaged can only be making things harder. Your bears are wonderful, darling bears that speak with their eyes. They will always be loved wether you make one a week or one a month. Please try not to worry... BIG HUGS  Cheers Susan
Funny how we all get used to the weather conditions.. Like Sarah we had a long hot spell over summer very high temps. Now are mornings are mostly frosty and top temps about 9 degrees. I saw on the news the other day when the Queen had her birthday parade and all those gaurds had full dress and busbys on. It's a wonder they didn't pass out. Cheers Susan
